How topic works

Topic (as well as Explore) works in the region of 30km. Topic allows people on Paired to create and discuss topics to exchange their knowledge, and to empower people to connect with others in the community. You can upvote a topic or a discussion if you find it interesting and useful.

Can anyone create a topic and comment?

Yes. People who have an account on Paired can create topics and write comments.

How to make a topic/ comment
  • Choose “Topic” from the main menu, tap on the aqua circle button with the pen icon to create a new topic.
  • Make an interesting title for your topic which helps it appeal more discussions.
  • Write your topic content (optional).
  • Tap “Post” on the right top corner.

To comment on a topic, choose a topic that you want to answer, write a message and tap the airplane icon.

How to follow a topic on Paired

From the screen “Topic”, tap to open a topic that you want to follow.

Tap the flag icon on the right top corner to follow this topic. When you’re following a topic, the flag icon is filled by aqua color.

To unfollow a topic, simply follow the same steps as above for any topic you’re already following.

To see the topic(s) that you’re following, choose “following” from topic tab.

Where to see my topics

Choose “Profile” tab from Paired, a side menu will come up. By choosing “My topic”, you can see all topics created by you.

Edit and delete my topics

You can edit or delete your topic within 2 hours after creating it. Your topic must have no answer.

To edit your topic, open it and choose “edit” below the content. After you’ve done, choose “Save”.

To delete your topic, choose “delete” below the topic content, then confirm again for processing done.

Prohibited content

Keep in mind this value above all others: show enough respect to others so that we all may continue to enjoy Paired for what it is.

Content is prohibited if it

  • Is illegal
  • Is involuntary pornography
  • Is sexual or suggestive content involving minors
  • Encourages or incites violence
  • Threatens, harasses, or bullies or encourages others to do so
  • Is personal and confidential information
  • Impersonates someone in a misleading or deceptive manner
  • Uses Paired to solicit or facilitate any transaction or gift involving certain goods and services
  • Is spam
